Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure fixed assets are properly accounted for by monitoring the end-to-end process including classification, useful life, acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, disposals, and reporting.
- Support implementation and operation of the Oracle financial suite including ERP, Planning and Budgeting and Oracle APEX Data warehouse to assist with capital expenditure reporting and audit processes.
- Monitor and report on CIP (Construction in Progress) and ensure timely capitalization of projects.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure that the review, approval, and accounting policies for Fixed assets are globally aligned and consistently applied.
- Ad Hoc analysis to support management programs and productivity and growth initiatives.
- Prepare supporting documentation and respond to inquiries for the company's quarterly, interim and year end audits, including SOX internal controls processes and procedures.
- Plan, coordinate count and record results of periodic fixed assets physical inventory.
- Implement process and technology platforms to improve reporting and controls to improve operational decision making.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- 2 years’ experience in Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
