Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Distribution Technician 

ST Genetics is a worldwide leader in livestock reproduction and other services for cattle, horses, deer, and swine. These services include sex-sorted semen, embryo production, and beef bull and heifer development. ST Genetics is currently seeking a Distribution Specialist at our Navasota, Texas location.

The Distribution Specialist will utilize a solid foundation of basic distribution techniques and experience. Under the supervision of the Distribution Manager, the Distribution Specialist will learn how to perform daily tasks in the distribution department in an accurate and time-efficient manner. The Distribution Specialist may be assigned independent projects and may also participate in the creation of special projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

·        Accurately identify product quality and count.

·        Maintain and improve inventory accuracy.

·        Prepare products for orders.

·        Package orders accurately and in a timely manner to meet order shipping dates

·        Use and comply with universal safety precautions to protect yourself and co-workers from biohazardous materials.

·        Exhibit proper handling of potentially hazardous chemical and biological agents and/or radiation sources in the workplace.

·        Monitor inventory levels and proper storage of materials and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures.

·        Must be able to routinely lift to 70lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications and Skills

·        High School diploma or equivalent

·        1 years related experience in a warehouse role

·        Bachelor’s Degree is a plus

·        Strong attention to detail

·        Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
