Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute milk, feed, water, and supplements according to established feeding schedules.
- Monitor calves daily for signs of illness, injury, or abnormal behavior and report concerns to management.
- Clean and sanitize calf housing, feeding equipment, and work areas.
- Assist with handling, moving, and sorting calves as needed.
- Maintain accurate feeding and animal care records.
- Monitor feed and supply inventory and notify management of shortages.
- Follow company biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with general farm maintenance and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Previous livestock or agricultural experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal care.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable working around livestock and farm equipment.
