WHAT YOULL DO .
The HR Coordinator will manage administrative tasks within the Human Resources department, including recruiting new employees, onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, coordinating training programs, ensuring compliance with HR laws, and assisting with strategic initiatives for the department and the company overall. This role involves working as part of a team to streamline HR operations and support STG Design employees. Depending on the day, your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- HRIS Administration & Records Management: Maintain accurate employee files, including personal information, employment documents, performance reviews, and leave records.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Utilize the ATS to post job openings, screen candidates, schedule interviews, conduct reference and background checks, and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees. Manage the college recruitment cycle and support local high school outreach and internship programs.
- Employee Life Cycle: Support employees from onboarding through offboarding, including new hire orientations, employee recognition, and training coordination.
- Benefits Administration Support: Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Compliance Management: Stay updated on employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company adheres to compliance standards. Maintain all mandatory compliance posters.
- Performance Management: Support the performance review process by preparing materials, tracking employee performance, and providing feedback to managers.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate HR reports and metrics to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Other Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree. Bachelors degree in human resources, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or relevant HR/administrative position with at least 2 years of applicable experience.
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with confidential data and subject matter.
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, and HR databases
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of UKG Ready.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting.
- Previous involvement with software implementation and data migration
