Daytime Baker for Stewart's Bakery

Overview
Stewart's Bakery is a local artisanal bread bakery. We are located in Williston Vermont and sell our products locally, and throughout Vermont, to supermarkets, coops, local markets, restaurants and delis.

We are seeking a baker to join our day baking team. The hours are 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM. This is a five day per week position, the work days are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, able to lift 50 pounds bags of flour and highly motivated. This is physical and fast paced work. We are willing to train a highly interested and committed person. Initial salary is commensurate with experience.

We make a variety of products daily which include artisanal, long fermented sourdough breads, as well as buns, loaves and specialty breads.

Reliability and being a team player are critical.

Duties

• Executing the daily baking schedule.
• Mixing, shaping and oven work.
• Operating machinery including mixers, dividers, rounders and moulders.
• Maintaining accurate digital records which involves scanning and logging information.
• Cleaning up and maintaining the equipment. We maintain a GMP certified facility.
• Again, being a motivated, responsible team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
