Accounts Payable Processor

Stewart Restaurant Group, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Processor responsible for much of the accounts payable function for multiple entities, including reviewing and processing up to 200 invoices weekly, creating payments and helping with internal and external communications regarding the payables and the AP processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review vendor invoices to ensure proper General Ledger coding, price, location and approvals prior to payment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all vendor transactions and reconcile statements.
• Research and resolve any discrepancies or issues found in invoices or account statements.
• Communicate with vendors to answer questions, provide payment status updates, and resolve payment issues.
• Reconcile vendor accounts with bank information to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies and accounting standards.
• Review and verify expense reports.
• Reconciles monthly statements and transactions.
• General maintenance and organization of accounting specific email inbox - facilitating internal and external communication in a timely manner.
• Preparing vendor distributions – checks, ACH, and wires
• Work within timelines for specific tasks
• Analyze and research various costs within the multiple companies to reduce expense.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
• Must be familiar with and able to learn accounting software systems
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and problem solving
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
