Systems/Network Analyst 1
40 hours/week Exempt position
Location: On-Site
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Systems/Network Analyst, you will support and maintain the hospital’s information systems - including printers, workstations, servers, and network infrastructure - to ensure efficient and effective operations. You will collaborate closely with healthcare staff and IT peers to identify needs, implement solutions, and maintain a secure and reliable technical environment.
Other responsibilities include:
- Assist in implementing, testing, maintaining, and supporting hospital information systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to identify IT needs and provide practical solutions.
- Perform system upgrades, updates, and routine maintenance.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all IT systems.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and support for end users.
- Participate in educational programs, cross-training, and professional development.
- Attend required meetings and maintain effective communication throughout the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in systems or network analysis or a related field.
- Experience with healthcare information systems and EMRs preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience resolving technical issues.
- Experience in system provisioning, upgrades, maintenance, and support.
- Associate degree in IT or a related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Meets all required background check standards.
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Windows Server Administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
- Basic system hardening, patch management, baseline configuration
- Virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware)
- Network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP
- LAN/WAN architecture and configuration
- IP addressing & subnetting (CIDR, VLSM)
- Routing & switching (Cisco/Juniper basics)
- Network monitoring and diagnostics (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Ping/Traceroute, NetFlow)
- VPN setup and management (IPsec, SSL VPN)
- Firewall/security basics (ACLs, NAT, port filtering)
- Cloud networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, gateways, VPN tunnels - Azure/AWS)
- Cloud compute concepts (VM provisioning, basic monitoring)
- Documentation tools (Jira, Confluence)
