Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of movable bridge projects.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
Conduct detailed engineering calculations and simulations to ensure the integrity and performance of bridge systems.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and effective engineering solutions.
Prepare and review technical documents, including design specifications, reports, and drawings.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve project goals.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and testing activities as required.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
10-15 years of experience in the movable bridge industry.
Strong passion for bridge engineering and a commitment to excellence.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and wear multiple hats.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong business acumen and ability to make strategic decisions.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
