Kitchen Chef
Full time - Hourly – Weekly Basis
Estimated Pay range: $19.90- $23.00/hr. Based on qualification & experience
Job Summary:
The responsibilities of the chef are to provide customers with a pleasant and satisfactory eating experience, an operational role with some supervisory responsibilities. Responsible for helping the Executive Chef in menu execution and monitoring daily food preparation and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and execute menus /recipes created and designed by Executive Chef

Responsible for the day to day operation of the kitchen

Compliance with kitchen policies

Have a good understanding of ingredients and nutrition

Be able to communicate with the kitchen team

Adhere to sanitation and food safety rules and regulation
-
Maintain professional appearance and behavior with customers and team members
Gross Profit:
-
Control daily food inventory
-
Reduce shrink/ Manage waste, utilize rewraps if in good condition, from Meat, Fish, Produce
Labor:
-
Work efficiently
-
Monitor schedule - insure it is aligned with business needs
Expenses:

Control waste- food, supplies, gloves, packaging
Education and Experience:
-
5 years experience as a chef; Bachelor’s Degree from a Culinary Institute

Food Safety and Sanitation current certification
-
Ability to work in a global environment

Average Computer skills
