Position Description:
Working closely with the Quality Control Specialist and Director, this entry-level position will provide guidance to Team Members regarding safe food handling practices, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, and preparing fresh and wholesome foods.
Your day-to-day:
- Conduct health inspections and implement food safety training programs
- Work with Federal, State, Local and Store In-House health inspections in the documentation and follow up with the respective store/departments
- Conduct warehouse audits to ensure the quality and freshness of our products
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Knowledgeable of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Serv-safe Certified or equivalent certification
- Strong computer skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Multilingual skills, especially English and Spanish, preferred
- Willingness to learn and maintain an open mindset
- Food production experience is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment as well as independently
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Able to stay calm in pressure situations
- Able to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Can troubleshoot various situations
- Is fair but firm

- Work schedule is normally M-F 7:30 am – 4 pm OR 8 am – 4:30 pm, however, may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays as needed
- The position requires frequent walking, standing, lifting pulling, and pushing with a range of 50-75 pounds
- Able to work in various temperatures due to highly perishable food items
- Willingness and ability to travel to various worksites within the tri-state area as needed
