Floral Assistant
Part Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $ 17.25 - $18.50 depending on qualifications and experience
Must be at least 18 years and older
Position Description:
Floral assistants create floral arrangements, bouquets, and displays for both retail sale and customer orders. They assist customers with the design and pricing of floral arrangements for a variety of occasions and create the final arrangement as per customer specifications.
Your day-to-day:
Our ideal candidate is available to work three to four days per week, typically from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including at least one weekend day. Candidates must also be available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as holidays when needed.

- Assisting customers throughout the flower department
- Arranging bouquets, arrangements, and displays
- Rotating flowers for time of year/season
- Helping with other tasks as assigned
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, with 1-3 years experience
- Understand art, style and the use of color to create beautiful arrangements
- Knowledge of different types of flowers
- Safely use pruning shears and box cutters

- Exposure to cooler than normal office temperatures possible to maintain product freshness
