Floral Assistants provide support to the floral department with a variety of activities such as helping prepare flowers for arrangements and displays, assisting customers, maintaining supplies and a clean work environment.

Job Summary:
Floral Assistants provide support to the floral department with a variety of activities such as helping prepare flowers for arrangements and displays, assisting customers, maintaining supplies and a clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by helping customers with product selection and answering questions
- Assistant floral designers with arrangements, bouquets, and displays for a variety of occasions
- Answer phone and take orders
- Keep displays fresh by properly rotating flowers
- Process flowers and care for plants
- Inform customers about care, maintenance, and handling of flowers
- Deliver arrangements, when necessary
- Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Perform other duties, as assigned
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Knowledge of different types of flowers
- Safely use pruning shears and box cutters
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

- Position requires walking, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting with a maximum weight of 50lbs.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store, offering assistance and support where needed.
- Improve and maintain the efficiency of the store in order to reach success.
