Job Summary
We are looking for a tech-savvy, organized, and detail-oriented Dispatch Assistant to join our team. This demanding role involves coordinating and supporting dispatch operations, ensuring seamless communication between clients, field teams, and management. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, delivers exceptional customer service, and demonstrates a proactive drive to meet operational demands. This is an in-office position requiring 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling and dispatching crane and rigging teams to job sites efficiently.
- Coordinate with clients, drivers, and field personnel to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Utilize dispatch software and other technology tools to track progress, manage schedules, and update records.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Respond calmly and effectively to high-pressure situations and unexpected changes in scheduling.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Support administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and equipment tracking.
Qualifications
- Proven tech-savviness with experience using dispatch software, CRM systems, or similar tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
