Stevens Foster Financial Advisors—serving Twin Cities clients since 1988—is seeking a highly organized Tax Administrator to support our Tax and Client Service teams. This operations-focused role keeps tax-season and year-round workflows running smoothly by managing documents, coordinating filings, maintaining accurate records, and supporting clear communication across departments.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare, mail, track, and process annual client tax organizers
- Receive, categorize, and scan incoming electronic and paper tax documents
- Draft missing-information checklists for advisors and clients
- E-file individual tax returns and maintain documentation and confirmations
- Prepare and mail completed returns, tax notices, and IRS/state correspondence
- Maintain accurate tax-season workflows in AdvisorEngine/Junxure
- Prepare account paperwork, beneficiary updates, transfers, and insurance applications
- Process contributions, distributions, transfers, and charitable gifting
- Update eMoney balance sheets and custody audit spreadsheets
- Support clients with document questions, portal access, and follow-up needs
- Monitor the main inbox, answer phones, greet clients, and assist with general office operations
- Support electronic signature and cross-department workflow processes
What You Bring
- 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (required)
- Administrative, tax office, or operational support experience strongly preferred
- Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience with Lacerte, Soraban, Fidelity Wealthscape, and Schwab Advisor Center is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with AdvisorEngine/Junxure CRM is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial and tax information
- Excellent communication skills with a calm, professional client-service approach
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, especially during tax season
- Reliability, discretion, and a collaborative mindset
Compensation & Schedule
We offer a competitive base salary, an annual bonus, and a comprehensive suite of benefits. Final compensation is shaped by experience and the level of responsibility within the role.
Schedule: Monday–Friday; additional hours during peak planning cycles
Hybrid: Available under firm policy
