IT Network Manager

We are working with a fast-growing stable company looking to bring on an junior IT Network Manager.

This role will be onsite Monday - Friday in Pembroke Pines. This person will need to have at least 1-2 years of experience of true management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Infrastructure Leadership

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Team Management & People Leadership

• Oversee and guide the network team, including:
• Providing direction that supports the mission, values, and core competencies
• Setting goals and coaching team members for continuous growth
• Delivering consistent performance feedback and managing annual reviews
• Supporting employee development and identifying high-potential talent
• Driving a positive culture focused on quality, engagement, retention, and continuous improvement
• Leading recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, job rotations, training, and timecard/overtime management
• Maintaining open and respectful communication through meetings, one-on-ones, and clear updates

Technology Research & Innovation

• Stay current on emerging technologies, evaluate new tools and architectures, and make recommendations that enhance network reliability, scalability, and efficiency. Act as the subject matter expert and final escalation point for all network-related issues.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure network operations meet regulatory and internal security standards, including data encryption, segmentation, and proper role-based access controls.

Documentation & Standards

• Create and maintain accurate network documentation such as diagrams, configuration standards, and system inventories.

Access & Security Assessments

• Perform security reviews of user accounts, directory structures, permissions, and device configurations to ensure a secure and compliant environment.
