Key Responsibilities
- Own the full accounting function, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements prepared in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable related to operations, contracts, and vendor relationships
- Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
- Lead audit preparation and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
- Continuously improve accounting processes, workflows, and reporting accuracy
- Lead the annual budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support leadership decision-making
- Analyze financial performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop financial models to evaluate profitability, return on investment, and operational initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally with operational leaders to align financial strategy with business objectives
- Deliver clear, actionable monthly and quarterly financial reporting to leadership
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to track financial performance, cost control, and efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve margins, optimize spend, and support growth initiatives
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership or leadership of accounting operations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
- Highly organized, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
