Global multi-billion dollar asset management firm in Miami (HYBRID) is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Fund Accounting to join their team. The person in this role will be responsible for reviewing monthly and quarterly fund net asset values (NAVs), calculating estimated NAVs, reviewing client capital statements, foreign currency and hedging, cash flow analysis, revenue reporting, and work cross functionally across departments. Will serve as a mentor to a team. Cash compensation in the range of $200-300K , commensurate with experience.
Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- MBA preferred
- CPA or CFA highly preferred
- Ideally seeking 6-12 years of experience including a blend of public accounting (Big 4 or National Firms) and fund accounting within a private equity firm or hedge fund
- Open to candidates coming straight of public accounting with extensive experience auditing funds with private equity or hedge fund clients
- MUST have hands-on experience with Fund Accounting and calculating and reviewing NAVs within private equity or hedge funds
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong sense of ownership and a collaborative approach to team success
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
