Accounting & Finance Associate – Biotech/Pharma - Hybrid (2-3 days in office)
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive accounting professional to support our growing biotech/pharmaceutical company. This hands-on role offers visibility to senior leadership, with opportunities to influence process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and manage accounts payable
• Support audits, regulatory reporting (including 1099s), and payroll accounting
• Assist in policy development, process improvements, and financial reporting/analysis
• Collaborate with department heads to track contracts and billing schedules
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field (CPA a plus)
• 3–5 years progressive accounting experience; biotech/pharma preferred or Public Accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite a plus)
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
