We are continuously looking for experienced Parts Managers to join our leadership pipeline for current and future opportunities throughout the Steven Automotive Group.

About the Role

As a Parts Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a dealership Parts Department while working closely with Service, Collision, Sales, and dealership leadership.

The ideal candidate understands automotive parts operations, knows how to lead a team, and is focused on maintaining an efficient, organized, and profitable department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Parts Department operations and workflow
• Lead, coach, and develop Parts Department employees
• Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, and distribution
• Work closely with Service and Collision Departments to ensure parts are available when needed
• Monitor inventory levels, purchasing, special orders, and returns
• Maintain accurate inventory records and department processes
• Monitor department performance, expenses, and profitability
• Build strong relationships with vendors and dealership departments
• Ensure manufacturer and dealership procedures are followed
• Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer service, and department performance

COMPENSATION

$80K ANNUAL EARNING POTENTIAL

Competitive Parts Manager compensation with the opportunity to earn $80,000 annually, based on experience, performance, leadership, and overall department results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of automotive parts management experience preferred.
• Previous dealership experience required.
• Strong understanding of OEM parts operations and inventory management.
• Experience with dealership management systems (CDK preferred).
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if applicable).
• Work in both warehouse and dealership environments.

Work Environment

This position works in both an office and warehouse setting and requires daily interaction with technicians, service advisors, sales staff, vendors, manufacturers, and customers.
