Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, on time, and to quality standards. This role provides leadership to production employees, ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, and drives continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:
   • Supervise, train, and coach production employees to meet performance expectations.
   • Ensure that the team adheres to safety protocols and maintains a safe working environment.
   • Manage employee actions, including but not limited to: daily time management and approvals, time off requests, recruitment, performance reviews, progressive discipline, and training needs.
   • Foster a positive work culture and promote teamwork and collaboration among team members.
   • Adherence to daily standard work and other company programs/initiatives (ie. 5s, KPIs, production goals, continuous improvement projects, etc.).

1. Production Oversight:
   • Oversee the applicable functions as assigned
   • Monitor production schedules and ensure that production goals are met on time and within quality standards.
   • Implement and maintain production processes, procedures, and best practices.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise.
   • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies
   • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, and company policies, including ISO 13485

1. Quality Control:
   • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest product quality.
   • Conduct regular inspections of finished products to identify defects and non-conformities.
   • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

1. Reporting and Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate records of production data, quality metrics, and employee performance.
   • Generate reports for upper management regarding production status, quality, and team performance.

1. Resource Management:
   • Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to optimize production efficiency.
   • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of products.
   • Additional duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production; 5 years in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role, strongly prefer experience in a manufacturing or production environment within the printing industry, including screen, flexographic, and digital printing.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
• Previous experience with ISO 9001 or 13485 quality standards
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production software.
