Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics, including domestic and international shipping, transportation, parcel management and LTL.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control and order fulfillment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, warehouse optimization, technology adaptation and industry best practices.
- Develop and monitor KPI’s to track efficiency, cost control and service levels.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards across all facilities
- Recruit, train and supervise warehouse staff.
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of 18, including 4 supervisors
- Set performance goals, provide coaching, and conduct evaluations
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Ensure accurate inventory records and cycle counts
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and discrepancies
- Collaborate with purchasing and finance to manage inventory and reporting
- Represent warehouse operations in executive meetings and cross-departmental initiatives
- Communicate regularly with corporate leadership regarding KPIs, challenges, and opportunities
- Support strategic initiatives related to warehouse optimization, technology, and cost control
- Work with manager to set annual warehousing budget
- 5 years of warehouse or logistics management experience, preferably with multi-site responsibility
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Experience with domestic and international shipping processes
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and inventory tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with executive leadership
- Ability to travel regularly between warehouse locations as needed
