Pizza Sales Associate

Job Summary

Steve's Una Pizza is seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Pizza Sales Associate to support sales activities, process customer orders, and deliver excellent service. The ideal candidate will assist customers with menu selections, promote available products, maintain an organized service area, and work closely with the kitchen team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Explain menu items, pizza varieties, toppings, specials, and available promotions.
• Take customer orders accurately in person or through phone and digital ordering systems.
• Recommend menu options and complementary items based on customer preferences.
• Process cash, card, and electronic payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Verify order details, pricing, special requests, and payment accuracy.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and completed on time.
• Package takeout orders carefully and confirm accuracy before handoff.
• Inform customers about current promotions, combo offers, and available menu options.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked counters and customer service areas.
• Restock menus, packaging materials, condiments, and other service supplies.
• Respond professionally to customer questions and help resolve routine service concerns.
• Assist with sales tracking, transaction records, and daily closing procedures.
• Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to support sales goals and customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional sales and restaurant support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous sales, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident, and customer-oriented attitude.
• Basic math skills and attention to transaction accuracy.
• Ability to learn menu details, POS systems, and sales procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Ability to stand and move for extended periods during a shift.
