Job Description

Steve's Una Pizza is looking for dependable, motivated, and friendly delivery drivers to join our growing team!

We're a busy, locally owned pizza shop looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing great customer service, and staying productive throughout their shift.

Your primary responsibility will be delivering hot, fresh food to our customers safely and efficiently. Between deliveries, you'll help keep the restaurant running smoothly by assisting customers, answering phones, folding boxes, washing dishes, and helping with general cleaning.

This position starts part-time, with the opportunity to move into full-time hours after training for those who are interested.

Pay & Compensation

• $9.00 per hour starting base pay
• $1.50 additional per delivery
• Tips on top of hourly and delivery pay
• $1.00 hourly raise after 30 days
• Total earnings typically exceed $20 per hour, depending on tips and delivery volume.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders accurately, safely, and on time.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Answer phones, take orders, and assist carryout customers.
• Handle cash and credit card payments accurately.
• Efficiently plan routes when taking multiple deliveries.
• Fold boxes, wash dishes, and complete cleaning tasks between deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Stay productive and assist the team during slower delivery periods.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable, properly maintained vehicle.
• No more than two traffic tickets in the past two years.
• Smartphone with reliable service and ability to use mobile payment applications.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Ability to organize and efficiently route multiple deliveries.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including cleaning and carrying orders.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to help wherever needed.
• Friendly attitude and enjoyment of interacting with customers.

Previous delivery or customer service experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person.
