Job Responsibilities
HSE MANAGEMENT
- Executes the implementation and verification of the HSE Management System,
- ISO 14001/ISO 45001 certified.
- Prepares documents related to the renewal of HSE authorization and participates to plant inspections, provided by Public Authority as referent for HSE, subsequently providing periodic reports required by law or by the Corporate Function.
- Identifies risk factors, assesses the risks, and executes promptly and effectively corrective and preventive actions for the safety and health of workplaces in compliance with relevant applicable standards, regulatory and requirements of the site.
- Supports in the environmental management and in the research of new opportunities to reduce impact working alongside operations and quality team at local level.
- Regularly checks HSE compliance requested by law working alongside local departments to implements effective process conditions.
- Studies new cross functional opportunities for continues improvement.
ASSESSMENT AND REPORTING MANAGEMENT
- Monitors the implementation and update of HSE policies and operative procedures by assessing regularly HSE risks and potential issues, and effectively aligns with the local team to improve performance and related KPIs aimed at promptly addressing improvement actions at site level.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Liaises with the Business functions, acting as point of contact, promoting the HSE cultural transformation, facilitating the information and internal communications flow to prevent and promptly manage any occurs issues and preserve the wellbeing of all stakeholders and business continuity.
- Builds strong relationships and collaborates with all internal functional team and external stakeholders enabling consistent commitment according to HSE local plans and programs.
Key Factors
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered.
- 2–3 years of HSE or environmental experience preferred within a manufacturing environment. Internship experience may also be considered.
- Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, contractor management, audits, compliance activities, or continuous improvement projects is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and data management skills with the ability to track trends, reporting, and HSE KPIs.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally within operations, production, facilities, and quality teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to support trainings and promote HSE initiatives across departments.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 required, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Teams, Power BI, OneNote, Planner, and Forms is a plus.
- OSHA, safety, or environmental certifications and experience with permits or regulatory agencies are considered a plus.
