We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This flexible opportunity is ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their schedule while helping residents improve mobility, strength, and independence.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with gait training, therapeutic exercises, transfer training, balance activities, and mobility programs
- Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional outcomes
- Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Flexible PRN scheduling
- Collaborative rehabilitation team with PT, OT, SLP, and nursing professionals
- Opportunity to work with short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents
- Supportive leadership and positive team environment
- Active New Hampshire Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- Flexible scheduling
