Stern Therapy Consultants is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide PRN treatment at Autumn Lake at Ballenger Creek. Help residents turn their physical therapy goals into practical progress-from getting out of bed more easily to walking safely-in a skilled nursing rehabilitation environment.
What You'll Do
- Implement prescribed interventions under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Guide residents through exercises and functional activities targeting strength, balance, and endurance.
- Provide gait training, bed mobility practice, and transfer instruction while observing resident-specific precautions.
- Reinforce proper use of mobility equipment and techniques taught within the established treatment plan.
- Track residents' responses to treatment and communicate changes or concerns to the PT.
- Document each session and coordinate mobility guidance with nursing and other rehabilitation staff.
- $40–$42 per hour.
- PRN shifts coordinated with your availability and department coverage needs.
- Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.
- Access to therapy leadership and collaboration with the facility's rehab team.
- Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Attentive treatment skills and accurate, timely documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly with residents and staff.
- Skilled nursing experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Salary : $40 - $42
