Schedule: 10-Hour Day Shifts, Monday–Thursday
Duration: 13 Weeks (Travel/Contract Position)
Pay Range: $32–$35 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Surgical Processing Technician (SPT) for a contract assignment in York, Maine. This is a great opportunity to work in a well-established healthcare facility with a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Maintain and monitor sterilization logs and inventory
- Ensure proper storage and distribution of sterile supplies
- Follow all infection control and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to ensure timely instrument availability
Requirements:
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an SPT
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday
