Title: Sterile Processing Tech – Travel Contract
Location: York Hospital, York, ME
Contract Type: Travel | 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Package:
- Total Gross Weekly Pay: $1,550
- Taxable: $600/week
- Non-taxable Stipends: $950/week
Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and sterilization standards.
- Operate sterilization equipment (e.g., autoclaves) and ensure proper documentation.
- Perform quality checks and inventory control of sterile supplies.
- Collaborate with OR staff to ensure timely delivery of instruments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sterile processing area.
Requirements:
- At least 1–2 years of recent sterile processing experience.
- Certification (CRCST or CBSPD) preferred.
- BLS certification (as required by facility).
