Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT or MLT) to join our Microbiology Lab Team for a 12-week assignment. This role is highly specialized in microbiology, and plate reading experience in a high-volume lab is essential.

Shift: Evening/Night Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks
Shift: 7ON/7OFF (1:00 PM – 11:30 PM) | Week 1: Sun–Wed | Week 2: Thurs–Sat
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological testing with a focus on plate reading
- Track and result specimens manually
- Conduct hand pipetting and BSC (biosafety cabinet) work
- Operate open-platform PCR techniques and equipment (Thermo Fisher Quant Studio 5, King Fisher, Applied Biosystems)
- Maintain high accuracy in non-interfaced instrumentation environments
- Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed
Qualifications:
- Certifications Required: MT or MLT via ASCP or AMT
- EMR: Experience with MEDITECH preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $42.00 - $49.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
