Position Summary
The Activity Aide supports the PACE program by facilitating, organizing, and assisting with daily activities for elderly and disabled participants in an outpatient/clinic-style setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors, is patient and engaging, and can contribute to a positive and stimulating environment.
Title: Activity Aide
Location: San Ysidro, CA 92173
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: December 22, 2025
Duration: 6 Months, with potential of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering daily recreational, social, and therapeutic activities
- Support participants during group and individual activities
- Escort and assist participants within the center as needed
- Monitor participant engagement and report observations to the care team
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and positive activity environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure participant needs are met
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Ability to work with elderly or disabled populations
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
