PRN Physical Therapist (PT) – Hospital Consultations & Evaluations
Sterling Staffing Solutions is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to provide in-person physical therapy consultations and evaluations in a hospital setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physical Therapist looking for flexible PRN work, competitive per-visit compensation, and the ability to choose availability based on their schedule.
Position Details
- Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
- Setting: Hospital – In-Person
- Schedule: Flexible Sunday–Saturday
- Availability: Opportunities may be available any day of the week, including Monday–Friday
- Employment Type: PRN / 1099 Contractor
- Compensation: Competitive per-visit rate
Your Role
As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will provide professional PT consultations and evaluations for patients in a hospital setting. You will assess patients' mobility, strength, balance, functional abilities, and safety and provide appropriate clinical recommendations based on your findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Complete PT consultations as requested by the hospital
- Assess patients' mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional abilities
- Evaluate transfer and ambulation needs
- Identify appropriate physical therapy needs and interventions
- Provide recommendations based on clinical findings
- Communicate findings and recommendations with the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other hospital staff
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain professional standards and patient confidentiality
What You Need
- Active and unrestricted Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Hospital or acute-care experience preferred
- Strong clinical evaluation and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
- Reliable transportation
- Professional and patient-centered approach
