CNC Sales Engineer

We are currently seeking a CNC Sales Engineer for our client in Manchester, CT. Our client is a supplier of CNC machinery, Swiss tooling, and machine accessories. This role requires a deep understanding of Swiss machining processes along with the ability to assess customer needs and propose appropriate tooling and work holding solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to customers and internal teams on Swiss machining techniques, tool holding, work holding, and machine tooling.
• Analyze customer applications and suggest products that align with their technical requirements.
• Address inquiries for product information and support sales discussions with practical machining expertise.
• Keep abreast of developments in Swiss CNC tooling, customer demands, and competitors' offerings.
• Collaborate closely with customer service and marketing teams.
• Attend trade shows on behalf of the company as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of technical sales experience or equivalent.
• At least two years of hands-on experience with Swiss CNC machinery.
• Prior experience in the Swiss machining tooling industry is desirable, but related experience will be taken into consideration.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel as required for the role.
