We are in search of a full-time Anesthesiologist specializing in critical care to join our team in Moultrie, GA. As a valued member of our Anesthesia department, we require a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist with Critical Care expertise. This role involves collaborative work with Anesthesiologists, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), and Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs).
- Salary: Competitive and experience-dependent guaranteed salary
- Schedule: Rotating 26 weeks on/26 weeks off (typically 7 on/7 off unless mutually decided by the team)
- 2 anesthesiologists per shift; overseeing CRNAs and AAs
- On-call duties required during work weeks for critical care backup
- Opportunity to mentor medical students and residents
- Hospital Facilities: Access to 24/7 physicians lounge, employee fitness center, and cutting-edge Medical Education Center with simulation rooms and conference facilities
- Advanced technology: New anesthesia Mindray machines, ultrasounds, Glideslope, and Belmont for emergency airways and rapid infusers
- 7 OR suites; 2 endoscopy suites
- ICU: 10 bed unit; consultative role partnering with pulmonology and critical care
