Sterling Search Partners is helping a client with its search for a Senior Operations Manager. The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for training and developing employees across multiple locations while leading high-priority operational initiatives and special projects. This position serves as a key member of the Gold Key Team, providing hands-on support, operational leadership, and rapid-response assistance to locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs for associates and managers on operations, safety, compliance, customer service, and company standards.
- Coach and mentor managers and emerging leaders to improve performance and leadership capabilities.
- Lead special projects including new location launches, operational turnarounds, process improvements, and support for underperforming locations.
- Travel up to 70% as needed, including overnight and extended stays.
- Quickly assess operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
- Partner with local leadership to improve performance, reinforce policies, and maintain operational standards.
- Conduct audits, process reviews, and post-project assessments while providing recommendations to senior leadership.
- Build strong relationships with employees and managers across locations and provide clear, constructive feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent operations/training experience.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs and leading special projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure, rapidly changing environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 70%.
