What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Print Production Account Coordinator - 2nd Shift position at STERLING NORTH AMERICA INC?
Position Purpose and Objectives:
Under the direction of the Client Service Manager, the Jr. Customer Service Representative is responsible for effectively communicating with existing and prospective clients’ orders and/or projects along with ensuring prompt service and proper invoicing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop positive rapport with existing and prospective clients and provide pre-sales support
- Communicate with clients via phone and e-mail to discuss new or repeat print orders; review project specifications and assure all are properly accounted
- Accurately translate and communicate client project requirements to facilitate timely production of product
- Provide quality-minded professional and prompt service relationships via phone and e-mail between client, management team, and production regarding orders, pricing, and or invoicing.
- Monitor progress of jobs throughout production, confer with clients to keep them informed, i.e., proactively discuss any issues that may arise during production, solicit additional information needed for current jobs and coordinate all changes
- Submit digital or paper proofs per client or management requests
- Field client questions and concerns in a polite, friendly, tactful manner; respond to inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely fashion, ensure appropriate actions are taken, and when applicable, advise supervisor, sales, and the production floor.
- Ensure timeframes of orders placed are upheld
- Record and file all orders/request in organized manner
- Maintain flexibility, collaborate with and support colleagues, sales team, and production when necessary
- Additional duties as directed by management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments
- Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and make adjustment to meet business needs
- Basic computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) including experience with databases and print management systems
- Must be detail-oriented, possess strong follow-up skills, and be capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, time-management skills, and the ability to handle high work volume in a team environment
- Must be mature, comfortable dealing with clients at all levels, and handling a variety of request or inquiries
- Must be a proactive self-starter who problem solves, follows-through, and completes assigned tasks
- Must be a team player, dependable and reliable
- Must be available to work assigned shift, and have the flexibility to work weekends, and overtime if needed
