In addition to having experience in the printing industry and wide-ranging knowledge of offset and digital printing, our ideal candidate will also be customer service driven, hands-on, mature, and professional, as well as have availability to work 5 days a week from 5pm 2:00am with flexibility to work more hours and/or days if needed.
How You'll Help Us Be Successful
Submit digital or paper proofs per client or management requests.
Communicate with clients via phone and e-mail to discuss new or repeat print orders; review project specifications and assure all are properly accounted.
Accurately translate and communicate client project requirements to facilitate timely production of product.
Monitor progress of jobs throughout production, confer with clients to keep them informed, i.e., proactively discuss any issues that may arise, solicit additional information needed for current jobs and coordinate all changes.
Record and file all orders/request in an organized manner.
Field client questions and concerns in a polite, friendly, tactful manner; respond to inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, ensure proper actions are taken, and when applicable, advise supervisor and collaborate with colleagues, sales, management, and production.
Additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
4 years solid Offset and Digital Print experience is needed.
Wide Format, Web Printing & Direct Mail knowledge is a plus.
3 years of experience in the printing industry or similar environment preferred.
Ability to work onsite at our Hauppauge location full-time is obligatory.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally a must.
Knowledge of print production processes is vital.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and quickly adapt to changing workloads and priorities is crucial.
Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills are vital.
Good reasoning, sound judgement, and ability to work in a team are essential.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is key.
Must be flexible with time, as business needs dictate work hours outside of normal schedule, i.e., come in earlier, work later, work weekends, etc.
