We are looking for a dedicated, caring Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our long-term care team. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, manage medication administration, and play a vital role in the health and comfort of the residents we serve. - Administer oral, topical, and injectable medications per physician orders
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to the supervising RN
- Perform wound care, catheter care, ostomy care, and treatments
- Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake and output
- Implement care plans as directed by the RN and care team
- Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs on your shift
- Communicate with residents, families, and the nursing team
- Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility compliance standards
- Current, unrestricted LPN/RN license in the state of Indiana
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred
- Strong medication administration and observation skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
