As we continue to grow our presence in the jewelry market, we're looking for a dynamic Livestream Host to bring energy, authenticity, and expertise to our live selling sessions.
Position Summary
As our Livestream Moderator (Tech & Admin), you will be the crucial technical and operational backbone for the Livestream Host and the entire live selling session. You will manage the technical flow of the broadcast, ensuring a seamless and professional presentation by controlling camera angles, managing the on-screen display, addressing viewer inquiries, and handling the essential post-stream logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the technical aspects of the livestream platform, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality broadcast.
- Work closely with the Livestream Host to manage the flow of the show, queue up products, and run on-screen promotions.
- Actively moderate viewer comments, respond to non-product questions (e.g., shipping, returns), and pin/highlight important information or comments.
- Control and adjust on-set camera angles, lighting, and audio levels as needed throughout the broadcast.
- Pin products and update product titles/descriptions in real-time to align with the host's presentation and viewer demand.
- Assist with post-stream logistics, including generating shipping labels for sales, packaging sold items, and maintaining the stream inventory/sales data.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including occasionally prepping product sets or assisting with behind-the-scenes content setup.
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven technical aptitude and comfort operating different systems
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written communication skills and fluency in English for responding to live chat comments.
- Ability to think quickly and problem-solve technical issues under pressure.
- Familiarity with various live selling platforms.
Preferred:
- Proven technical aptitude and comfort operating digital streaming software and hardware (e.g., cameras, monitors, control panels).
- Experience moderating or running live streams, especially for product-based brands or e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with basic streaming software (OBS)
