Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Salary: $120K-$140K

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for a growing engineering consulting organization supporting large-scale industrial and manufacturing projects. Job Duties:

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems
• Develop engineering calculations, technical documentation, and construction packages
• Coordinate with drafting and design teams to support drawing and model development
• Participate in project planning, design reviews, and construction support activities
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders
• Conduct occasional site visits, field observations, and assist with issue resolution
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and execution activities on smaller project scopes
• Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and project specifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• Experience supporting structural engineering projects within industrial or manufacturing environments
• Proficiency with structural analysis/design software such as STAAD, RISA, RAM, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation design principles
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work effectively within collaborative engineering teams
