Title: Senior Network Engineer

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $110,000-130,000

Bonus/ Incentives/ Stock Options: 6% Bonus Eligibility

Overview:

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and intranet environments. The Network Engineer manages network architecture, ensures secure and reliable connectivity, and partners with internal teams to optimize performance and support organizational needs.

Job Duties:

• Support daily operations of network hardware and systems, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Configure, maintain, and support firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and related equipment.
• Participate in network design, upgrades, and implementation for voice and data systems.
• Analyze network traffic, forecast future needs, and recommend improvements.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including IDS/IPS and VPNs.
• Monitor cloud and data center environments for performance and security issues.
• Perform and document routine network changes and updates.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network, hardware, and software issues.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in network architecture, design, and support.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
• Expertise with firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and voice systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience leading network upgrades, migrations, or related projects.
