Sterling is partnering with a leading manufacturer to hire a Senior Construction Estimator to support large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects. This is a high-impact role focused on accurate cost modeling, bid analysis, and cross-functional collaboration from concept through execution.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical scopes
- Perform take-offs and analyze drawings/specs
- Review subcontractor bids and vendor pricing
- Partner with project managers, engineering, and procurement teams
- Build cost summaries, scopes of work, and risk contingencies
- Present estimates and recommendations to stakeholders
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 7 years of construction estimating experience (industrial or commercial)
- Strong skills with RS Means, ProEst, Bluebeam, Excel
- Experience with take-offs, bid evaluations, and cost controls
