Overview:
The quality assurance documentation specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining quality management system documentation to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standard.
Job Duties:
Creating, reviewing, formatting, and maintaining quality system documents such as procedures, work instructions, forms, and records
Controlling documents and records in accordance with document control procedures, including revision management and distribution
Coordinating document changes, approvals, and effective dates with process owners and management
Ensuring documentation aligns with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001), regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Supporting internal and external audits by providing controlled documents and objective evidence
Qualifications:
Strong written communication and technical writing skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with revision control, change management, and records retention requirements
Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Understanding of manufacturing or regulated environments and audit processes
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple documents and deadlines
