Responsibilities:
- Program and integrate Fanuc robotics systems from the ground up, bringing advanced automation projects to life.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth builds, installations, and system performance both in-house and at customer sites.
- Lead or support automation projects, managing timelines, quality, and documentation to deliver exceptional results.
- Optimize system performance by analyzing results and recommending design or programming improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting, ensuring customer systems remain operational and downtime is minimized.
- Train customers on robotic cell operation and best practices for long-term system success.
- Stay at the forefront of robotics technology through continuous learning, including specialized Fanuc training and collaboration with skilled automation professionals.
- Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably related to the scope of the position and necessary for business operations.
Requirements:
- Ability to be onsite, in person 4-5 days per week at Council Bluffs, IA site
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License and Passport
- Willingness to travel up to 70% within the USA, Canada and Mexico
- 2 years of experience programming Fanuc Robots from scratch using TP Language and Keral
- 2 years of experience supporting commissioning of Automation projects at customer sites
- 2 years of experience programming PLCs from scratch (Allen Bradley)
- 2 years of experience with Studio 5000 or FactoryTalk (Rockwell)
- 2 years of experience using RoboGuide software
