Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Pay: $17-$20/hr

Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support daily building and equipment maintenance at our Elmhurst facility. This position involves hands-on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and enjoys keeping systems running efficiently in a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on facility systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical issues.
• Assist with facility improvement and upgrade projects.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and ensure a clean workspace.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address maintenance priorities.
• Document maintenance work and communicate updates as needed.
  
  

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in facilities or maintenance technician roles within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
• Ability to read piping and wiring schematics preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
