Title: Power Distribution Engineer I

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Power Distribution Engineer I in Maitland, FL. This role supports electrical utility projects with a focus on distribution design and field coordination.

Job Duties:

• Develop designs for overhead and underground electrical distribution systems
• Support projects including pole replacements, reconductoring, service line connections, lighting, and utility relocations
• Perform field data collection and assist with site meetings alongside crews and stakeholders
• Support road widening and feeder projects
• Assist with storm restoration efforts, including damage assessment
• Utilize design tools and specifications to complete project deliverables
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET accredited)
• Some experience in power distribution or related field preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical distribution systems
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in both office and field environments
