We’re looking for an Electrical Technician to support the wiring, assembly, and testing of automated and custom machinery. This hands-on role involves reading schematics, routing and terminating wiring, and supporting machine testing to ensure everything is built to spec and operates safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wire electrical panels, junction boxes, and machine assemblies following schematics and layout drawings
- Route, cut, and terminate wiring and cables neatly and efficiently
- Install sensors, switches, motors, and control components
- Perform point-to-point wiring checks and assist with power-up and testing
- Identify and report wiring or electrical issues to supervisors or engineering
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Support machine debug and final testing (occasional travel for installs may be required)
- High school diploma or technical training in electrical/industrial technology
- 1-3 years of electrical wiring or panel assembly experience (custom machinery or automation a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Proficient with hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Familiar with control panels, sensors, and basic machine wiring
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety
