Architect – Facilities Expansion (GMP)
Location: Waukegan, IL 60087 - Hybrid onsite
Duration: 12 month contract with potential for perm
Sterling Engineering is hiring an Architect to support facility expansion & modernization projects for a globally regulated manufacturer. This Architect will develop layouts, manage A/E partners, and ensure GMP-compliant facilities across manufacturing, R&D, and distribution operations.
Must-Haves:
✔ 10–20 yrs architecture in food / pharma / biotech / industrial manufacturing
✔ Facility planning, layouts, and building systems integration
✔ GMP / FDA design experience
✔ AIA / Licensure preferred
✔ Experience with capital projects & multidisciplinary teams
