We’re hiring an Applications Engineer to support sales and customers by developing technical solutions, building cost estimates, and creating proposals for OEM and modernization projects.
You’ll also be the go-to expert on sand production and help customers improve performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from concept through quotation
- Build cost estimates and support pricing decisions
- Manage RFQs and coordinate with engineering purchasing
- Create proposals including costs, drawings, and layouts
- Work directly with sales, agents, and customers
- Review customer specs and RFQs
- Size equipment and calculate sand demand
- Prepare and update cost estimates
- Support pricing and proposal delivery
- Strong problem-solving and organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Detail-oriented and customer-focused
- Strong communication skills
- Background in foundry operations or sand production
- Knowledge of sand mixing, testing, and process control
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and do basic calculations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office CRM
- Basic CAD knowledge required
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
