Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow customer relationships through proactive communication and support
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, orders, and customer inquiries
- Coordinate with production, operations, and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Maintain accurate sales records, pricing, and order information within internal systems
- Support outside sales efforts and assist with account management activities
- Provide customers with updates regarding lead times, order status, and product availability
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Develop a strong understanding of products, manufacturing capabilities, and customer applications
- Work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment handling multiple priorities simultaneously
Qualifications:
- Previous inside sales, customer service, or account management experience within manufacturing preferred
- Metals, industrial, or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
