Sterling Court is looking for a courteous, fast learning, Culinary Assistant (Server) to add to our team!
Full Time / Part Time Positions available.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents in the dining room to be seated and make menu selections.
- Provide table-side service to the residents of food selections; initiate the serving of beverages and cold food items to the residents in the dining room.
- Buss and reset the tables in the dining room following each meal time.
- Restock dining room tables with condiments.
- Observe when food and dining room supplies are low and report the need for reorders to the Director of Dining Services
- Provide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of meals.
- Assist the cook to label and properly cover and store unused foods after each meal time; assist the cook to put away inventory and meat orders.
- Assist in arranging tray cards, loading food carts, and serving meals.
- Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves. etc.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
a) Receive/maintain current First Aid and Utah Food Handlers Permit Certifications
b) Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English Language.
c) Work in an often fast-paced environment to accomplish tasks before deadlines
d) Work as a team with other staff members to serve residents with kindness and professionalism
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
a) Two years of experience in kitchen setting and serving, OR
b) Six months experience in a similar capacity
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
